This page is devoted to past players who have contributed so much to to the team and helped lay the foundations for the best team Goulburn & Districts has ever had. Although successful on the field, these girls also showed they have what it takes to be successful in life and they have gained life long friendships through this team, and hopefully they will not be the last to do so.

Nickname: Haylz / Alfie
Position: Left Mid
One of the original members from 2005, Hayley left the team mid-season in 2008 to move to Bogangar on the NSW far Nth Coast where she resumed her playing career with Border Utd, before heading overseas to the UK .Hayz was a fierce competitor and gave the midfield the bite needed to compete at the higher level. A popular player with everyone , she was regarded as the team entertainer and will forever be remembered for her "Kim" impersonations in Denmark.

Position: Goalkeeper / Midfield
The "mother hen" of the team for the past two seasons, Amz was looked up to by players and officials alike. She always maintained a calm, mature manner (except when she got injured) and was a fearless keeper as well as an excellent role model to the younger players. Amz left the team due to age restrictions and to study teaching at Uni.of Canberra.

Nickname: Shannoir or Nollsy
Position: Centre -mid
Shannon joined the team in 2006 and became one of the unsung heroes of the side. Not a flashy player but very capable and a non-stop worker with a knack for scoring important goals. Shannon also entertained her colleagues with her "different approach to life's problems" and her lack of any sense of direction. Shannon left the team due to age restrictions and to do equine studies in the Hunter Valley.She has since returned to Goulburn and plays in AAW in Canberra.

Favourite Position: Striker
Sam joined the team in 2006 and after a slow start she became one half ( with Natina) of the most feared striking partnership in Canberra. Sam had great speed and strength which she combined with an instinct for goalscoring. Off the field she was an affable girl with a penchant for partying and fun. Matured a lot in her last season, left due to age restrictions and spent some time on the Nth Coast working in Childcare, before returning to Goulburn.

Nickname: Kriddy
Position: Goalkeeper
One of the originals from 2005, Kristy retired from playing at the end of 2007. Stuck doggedly to her role as 'keeper through the dark years of 05 and 06 to deservedly reap her rewards with the successful team of 07. Retired while she was on top. Studied at Wollongong TAFE as a Nail Technician, before securing employment at the Commonwealth Bank in Goulburn.

Nickname: Lozza
Position: Defender
Close friend of Kristy Orton and younger sister of Sam, Lauren joined in 2005, missed 2006 then played in 2007 before retiring again. A strong defender, blessed with a quirky and irrepressible sense of humour which always helped team morale.(She often got the giggles, even on the field, over the slightest incident.) Lauren has recently finished school and working while she considers her career options.

Favourite Position: Sweeper/ Striker
Milly was a founder member of the team and was undisputed leader from the start. After spending five years as a pillar of defence she switched to striker to help her team through a crisis and ended the season as second highest goalscorer in the division. Having achieved legendary status among the players, Milly has moved to Wollongong where she is studying engineering at Wollongong Uni whilst working as a trainee at Bluescope Steel. Resumed her playing career with Kemblawarra.

Nickname: Rev
Favourite Position: Goalie lol, Right mid
Rev joined the team in 2007 and had an immediate positive impact with the team. Hard working and skilful, she managed to get better each season, despite being moved around to positionally to assist the team. Her last season was sensational and she was an inspiration to her team-mates. Moved to Wollongong Uni studying Sporting Science at which she will undoubtedly succeed. Also resumed her playing career with Kemblawarra.

Favourite Position: Striker
Another of the original members, as she has matured Natina has proven to be a sensational striker. Good enough to play internationally if she applies herself, Natina is not playing in 2010 while she adjusts to life after school and full time employment.

Nickname: Lizzie
Favourite Position: Left Mid
Lizzie is also one of the founding members of the team and provided an extra edge to the team with her brave and skilful displays. Lizzie has moved to Canberra to further her career and expects to attend either UC or ASU in 2010 or 2011 depending on her working situation.

Nickname: Jess
Favourite Position: Leftback
Jess has been with the team since 2006 and earned a reputation as a tough, no nonsense defender with a heart of gold. Loved by all, Jess is doing a business course in Goulburn.

First name: Kristy
Last name: Boxsell
DoB: 4/3/1995
Nickname: Krickett
Favourite Position: Not sure yet.
Kristy only played one season (2009) but showed a lot of ability, as well as becoming hugely popular with the other girls. Proving her potential, Kristy made the 2010 Sthn Branch U16 squad and will undoubtedly improve even further. Is playing for the Witches in the 2010 KangaCup and may return to the Witches in 2011

Nickname: Roo or Pevison
Favourite Position: Defender
No nonsense defender Lucy joined in 2006 and quickly made the right back position her own. Lucy is a solid and talented player. She left at the end of 2009 to further her studies in fashion, in Sydney.

Favourite Position: Centre Mid
Shayna only played a half season with us in 2008 but she had a huge impact as well as being a very popular member of the side. Left the side to attain a scholarship with ACTAS. Could well be destined for bigger and better things in women's football and is currently playing with Belconnen in the Capital Premier League.

Nickname: Bear
Favourite Position: Goalkeeper
Ellie's younger sister Caitlin joined the team in 2007 as a back up keeper and utility player. In 2008 she made the keepers spot her own while Amy Friend was injured and was integral in the team's great defensive record, conceding only 6 goals in 18 games. After winning selection in the U17 CFA Centre of Excellence squad, she joined Tuggeranong in SL1 to remain with the CFA coach.

Favourite Position: Stopper
Ellie had transformed into a formidable defender over the past two seasons, cementing the central stopper role as her own. Her game had matured markedly and she she was expected to play a key role in the revamped line up this season.Unfortunately Ellie became unsettled when her sister left and after playing in the early pre-season games announced she was leaving the team.

Position: Forward/Midfield
Dea started with the side in 2006, leaving mid 2008 to play with Crookwell. A very talented player, Dea was let down by her work rate and tendency to drop out of a game if things were not working for her. The change in playing environment will hopefully work in her favour.

Sophie only joined in 2009 but proved to be a skilful acquisition. Sophie left (due to age retsrictions) at the end of the season and will probasbly attend Uni.

Amy joined in 2006 before moving north late that year. Rejoined the team when she returned to Goulburn in 2008 and played a vital role in the backline in 2008 and 2009. Was set to play in 2010 but decided to move to Albury to attend Uni.
