Eleven of the Witches accompanied by seven friends and family, attended the Capital Awards night at the Hellenic Club, Woden. The evening proved to be a huge success yet again with over 500 in attendance to witness the end of season presentations. It was a personal success for the Witches, taking home four trophies on the night. As well as collecting their Premiership and Championship trophies, Natina picked up the Golden Boot award for top scorer and in a surprise decision, Jerry was awarded the Capital Football Male Coach of the Year. The formalities concluded around 10.30pm but the festivities continued with a number of Witches remaining overnight to teach the Canberrans how to party.
